Academies in Coventry and Solihull
Celebrating the destinations and achievements of former WMG Academy students.
WMG Academy is incredibly proud of the world-class destinations our students have gone to after completing their studies with us since our first academy opened in 2014. Our alumni have travelled the world, worked on concept supercars, built bridges and put planes in the sky.
Our alumni network connects former students with the school and with each other, creating an ongoing community beyond their time here, including those who have progressed to universities, apprenticeships and careers in industry.
WMG Academy students are well prepared for their next stages in education and for life in modern Britain
Careers information, advice and guidance are significant strengths across the school. Pupils are exposed to a wide range of progression routes and opportunities. This means that destinations are positive at all levels, including strong access to apprenticeships, university courses and employment.
Leaders' work to promote pupils' wider personal development is impressive. They have skilfully woven elements of vocational learning into the curriculum so that it has become part of the fabric of the school. When pupils leave the school, they move on to positive and appropriate destinations.
